Our Lifetime Warranty
When you buy an engagement ring or wedding band from Beyond Two Rings, we stand behind it for as long as you own it. Here's how our warranty works, in plain words.
A manufacturer's lifetime warranty
Our promise is simple: if a piece you bought from us fails because of how it was made or set, we fix it. If it fails because of wear, an accident, or loss, we'll repair it at a fair price, which is why we also recommend protecting it.
While your warranty is active, it includes:
- Free professional cleaning and inspection, for life. Walk in anytime, no appointment needed.
- One free rhodium plating per year on white gold, for life.
- Replacement of small diamonds (under 0.50 ct) that fall out because of a defect in the mounting.
Stone coverage depends on the stone's size and the condition of its setting. Stones over 1.00 ct, non-diamond gemstones, and chipped or cracked stones aren't covered, so we recommend insuring them. We're always happy to walk you through exactly what applies to your piece.
Keep it active: a check-up every 6 months
To keep your warranty active, bring your ring in for a free cleaning and inspection every six months. We check the prongs, stone tightness, shank and solder joints, and log every visit to your account. A worn prong is usually visible months before it fails, so these quick visits are the best way to keep your stones where they belong.
You have a 60-day grace period after each due date. If your warranty lapses, it can be reinstated with an inspection and any needed maintenance, though losses during a lapse aren't covered.
What isn't covered
- Damage from accident, impact, chemical exposure, misuse, or negligence
- Normal wear, including prong retipping
- Loss or theft of the piece
- Any repair, sizing, or alteration done by another jeweler
- Rhodium and gold plating, which is a wear finish
The warranty covers the original purchaser and can be transferred once to a gift recipient with the original receipt. It ends if the piece is resold.
Jewelers Mutual protection plans
Because our warranty covers how your jewelry is made, not life's accidents, we offer Jewelers Mutual protection plans. They also cover accidental damage, so your piece is protected well beyond manufacturing defects. Ask us about adding a plan when you purchase.
